WHAT's E.I (EVIL ISABELLA) UP TO NOW???

Tony was furious to see that Mimi had disobeyed him about not talking to the reporter about Titus’ cheating, it was in the papers. After he leaves, Giacormo phones Mimi to warn her. E.P confesses to José about Alex’s stupidity but assures him he’s a changed man. Lorenzo asked E.I if she was behind Laura and Sylvia’s altercation; she feigns ignorance, all she knew was what she’d read in the papers, about how Laura Benavides had slapped her sister in a restaurant. After he leaves, she gets a call from Laura’s doctor, he’d carried out some tests with something she’d obtained…
Lorenzo talks to Sylvia over the phone but she refuses to discuss Laura with him. Tony confronts Mimi but she turns the tables on him, thanks to the article, Titus had been forced to confess and his prize seized. She hands the trophy and prize money to a shamefaced Tony. José wants Sylvia to regard Laura as family but she refuses. Laura goes to complain to Giacormo but got very little sympathy from him. The doctor hands over the new test to E.I, assuring her it was 100% accurate. Opening it, she finds what she’d suspected for a long time- Lorenzo is NOT the father of Laura’s baby!

( well duh…I knew that).

AN EVENTFUL ALTERCATION

Alex tries to smooth the very awkward situation but Sylvia insists on not letting Laura ruin her evening. Not at all easy with Laura looking at her with venom! She doesn’t believe it’s a coincidence, certain Sylvia was following her or that Horsy had chosen the restaurant deliberately. Alex is of course uncomfortable but Sylvia does her best to ignore her. She gets up to go to the bathroom as Alex goes to talk to the headwaiter but Laura suddenly bars her way. Giacormo tells Lorenzo how he’d constantly thought of Nattie while in New York, to Lorenzo’s surprise since Giacormo had always been gay after having Tony. However he feels Giacormo and Nattie would make a good couple. Giacormo isn’t prepared to give her up and decides to tell her of his love as soon as possible. Sylvia denies following Laura, maybe Laura was following her because she wasn’t over Alex. Laura slaps her, everyone present watching her. She warns Sylvia not to touch her (probably remembering Sylvia was once a wrestler) but the girl scornfully informs her she doesn’t hit pregnant women- the child she was carrying was after all her nephew; Laura angrily tells her never to say that again, she would never regard Sylvia as her sister. Sylvia is in total agreement with it as she’s very ashamed to have Laura as her sister, especially after the way she’d treated their father. Laura sneeringly assures her José will eventually rip her off. Alex comes back and leads Sylvia away. E.I and Horsy laugh over the incident , E.I phones a gossip reporter she knows to have it printed. Laura of course exaggerates the whole thing to Lorenzo, telling him Sylvia had slapped her and was very rude but of course Lorenzo takes Sylvia’s side- he knew she would never do that. Alex tells José, Tony and Mimi about he incident; José is amazed to hear from Mimi that Alex had slept with Laura while with Sylvia. Nattie tells Sylvia Orlando had taken her to meet his parents and hears about the latest fiasco. Horsy is very jealous when Orlando tells her where he’d taken Nattie to the night before, and tells E.I, who assures her that very soon, Orlando will be kicked out of the company. (what is she up to now?)

A DATE... WITH 2 SLEAZY EX BOYFREINDS

Hercules complains about E.P‘s cooking but José didn’t seem to mind the food, calling it a ‘work of art’. Isabella wants Sylvia and Laura to meet each other as half sisters, hoping she’ll make a fool of herself when she sees Sylvia and Alex having dinner at the restaurant, and be shocked enough to have a miscarriage. Horsy, who is to take Laura to the same restaurant for dinner, gives her a surprised look. Giacormo congrats E.P on her marriage to Hercules and promises to design a wedding dress for Mimi; the young couple want a ‘rap wedding’, much to E.P’s disapproval. Alex promises a distrusting Hercules that he’ll behave himself around Sylvia. Sylvia and Nattie prepare for their dates (yuck again). The bell rings but it’s Lorenzo. Sylvia is immediately uncomfortable but he actually came to see José. Giacormo remembers the first time he and Nattie had kissed in his kitchen. He calls Orlando and fixes a time they’ll meet. José joins Hercules and E.P at a game of cards. Lorenzo and Giacormo meet, pleased to see each other again. The latter isn’t happy at all about Nattie’s action and confesses that he’d fought his feelings for a long time but in New York he realized that he not only loved Nattie, he now desired her as a woman!
Sylvia & Alex are at dinner, Isabella watching them from afar. Horsy & Laura enter and immediately see them both. The 2 women regard each other silently…

LOOK WHO'S BACK IN TOWN

Laura receives another unexpected visitor, this time it’s Giacormo, back from New York and fully recovered, no longer using a cane to walk. He still doesn’t regard Laura like before; she’s no longer his best friend, to her distress. He’d just come from the airport and wanted to hear what’s been happening. She tells him Nattie had gone back to Orlando. A shadow came over his handsome face. Sylvia showed José her office and the line of work. Tony isn’t pleased when Mimi comes with a reporter to interview him about Titus’ dirty trick. They both rush to hug Giacormo when he appears at their elbow. Horsy is very snippy towards Nattie but Nattie throws it right back at her. Lorenzo is very angry with Isabella for what she did to his precious Sylvia but she managed to slide through the scolding, reminding him about their present project. Conan goes to the boutique and is happy to see Giacormo was back and angrily said that Orlando must have brain washed his sister when Giacormo brings it up. Alex visits Sylvia who is noticeably warmer towards him (yuck, I hate him). Nattie attends the office meeting; exchanging barbs with Evil Isabella (from now on I’ll nickname her E.I) and glares with Horsy. After she and Lorenzo leave, Isabella is amazed to hear from Horsy that Nattie had forgiven Orlando, hinting that it won’t last long (she’s up to something again). Laura is amazed and angry to hear from José that Sylvia is her sister!

E.I IS SUCH A BITCH!

Sylvia is shocked, José stricken and Conan absolutely furious. Sylvia is sure it’s a lie but her father sadly confirmed it, amidst Isabella’s taunts. Conan forcibly throws Isabella out. Orlando laughingly accepts Nattie’s ‘conditions’. Lorenzo assures Laura he’s warned Isabella to leave her alone. Sylvia is numb at this sudden info. José tells her Laura’s mother had been just like Laura. Conan angrily tells Nattie about Isabella’s latest prank and she consoles Sylvia who was reminiscing her past relationship with Lorenzo- her brother-in-law! Hercules is very angry about the whole thing, calling Isabella a mean woman (an understatement, as we all know). Nattie informed Lorenzo over the phone about what ‘that stupid idiot Isabella’ had done. José tells E.P what had happened and she isn’t pleased- she’d wanted to be the one to tell Sylvia. Conan is furious to hear form Nattie that she was back with Orlando. She insists that Orlando was a changed man (not to me, he’s a pig) and pleads with her brother to give him a chance and not tell Hercules yet. Conan threatens to kill Orlando if he made Nattie suffer again. (considering the last time Orlando had cheated on her, Conan had gone to the office and had given Orlando 2 black eyes and a sprained arm before Lorenzo could get him off, this is NOT an idle threat, folks).

NOW FOR SYLVIA...

Laura received Tony and Mimi, wondering why they’d come to visit her all of a sudden. (By the way, she was wearing the most VULGAR blue open-weave top in that episode. Mimi’s purpose was to see if Laura knew about her connection with Silvia but she found nothing. Silvia tells Hercules she was leaving his house as she could no longer trust them after the stunt they’d pulled. Jose tried to calm her down but she’s insistent. Laura is very surprised at the way Tony and Mimi left without saying goodbye. As Sylvia is packing her things, José points out she was being unfair, the family hadn’t meant any harm, but she’s still very angry at being lied to. Nattie however tells her Mechita had being the one to insist Sylvia was never to be told about Jose and reminds her cousin the family had shown her nothing but love since she moved in with them, therefore she should stop acting like a spoilt brat. Sylvia tearfully calms down. Conan assures Hercules Sylvia had forgiven them but they both warn José never to tell her Laura was her (ugh!) sister. Isabella is angry to hear from Horsy (my nickname for long faced Gloria) that Lorenzo really wants to her to leave, boasting of the power he didn’t know she wielded. She remembers when he was scolding her that he hadn’t mentioned she leave Sylvia alone- she will reveal Jose’s secret to her. Horsy warns her of Lorenzo’s reaction as it was Sylvia he loved but Isabella is very vindictive- Laura and Sylvia were irritating thorns in her flesh, because of them Lorenzo wasn’t with her, therefore she’ll destroy them both.(first class BITCH!) Tony and Mimi watch the video awards on T.V with E.P. alas, Titus won! Tony leaves in rage. Nattie joins Orlando at the restaurant and reads to him her list of conditions. Silvia, José and Conan are having coffee when Isabella shows up like a hovering vulture; and told Sylvia that Laura was her half sister!

I'm so so sorry folks for the long absence, no one regrets it more than i do, but I've been so busy at work! Being a class teacher suddenly after being a subject teacher for so long is no easy business, along with the sandwich programme i'm pursuing at LAG. Normally i write down the episodes but i'm yet to get the change to go to a cybercafe and post it, alas, it has'nt been easy for your host at all. pls forgive and hold on, you won't be left in suspense for long.

Silvia's wish finally realised...

Silvia runs to him and they embrace, tears falling down her cheeks. Isabella doesn’t tell Laura who her sister is, but assures her she’ll be very shocked. Conan is very worried about Silvia’s reaction towards them. Hercules tells E.P what her son had done. Tony blames Mimi for convincing him to do the video for Titus in the first place; in defence she said she hadn’t known he’ll use it for the competition. Lorenzo is very worried about Silvia. Isabella comes in to tell him about Silvia but he isn’t shocked like she expected, he wanted to know how she found out. Silvia asks Jose who her half sister was. Jose replies her sister doesn’t want to have anything to do with him and brushes it aside when Silvia offers to talk to her. Instead, he urges Silvia to tell her about her childhood and if her mother had married someone else. Mimi tells her mother about what Titus had done. E.P tells her about Silvia and Laura, Mimi is shocked. E.P warns her not to tell anyone and Mimi calls her a gossip monger. Gloria too is shocked when Isabella tells her about it. Isabella plans to get the two women to find out about it. Lorenzo calls Laura, who tells him what Isabella had said. Silvia tells Jose more about her mother and how she remained positive and cheerful all her life. Jose sadly regrets how he’d abandoned Mechita but Silvia insists he forget about it. She also adds the family had no right to lie to her just because they trying to protect her. Jose doesn’t want her to fight them because of him, they had meant no harm. Alex tells Nattie and Conan their cousin was with her father, insisting he had done nothing wrong. He is shocked when they tell him his ex-lover, Laura is the sister, a very stupid look on his face. They show him the article; he admits he wouldn’t have interfered in the matter at all. Lorenzo angrily confronts Isabella about her phone call to Laura and warns her to leave her alone from now on, or he’ll revoke their partnership, even if he lost his inheritance. Mimi asks Tony to follow her to Laura’s house, he sniggers when she tells him about S and L. Gloria assures Orlando that his reconciliation with Nattie won’t last. Lorenzo asks Orlando to make a report on the losses they’ll incur when they break ties with Isabella.

The Grape vine is active!

As soon as they leave, Isabella calls the doctor and threatens to ruin him if he told tales to Laura about their ‘agreement’. E.P cannot understand why Hercules was friends with a person like Jose. Hercules admits Jose was a good man deep down but the trouble with him that he was too adventurous and is glad Silvia will never meet him or find out. E.P is more than anxious to reveal the secret to Silvia and the whole neighbourhood; accusing him of not trusting her by telling her about it earlier on. Gloria exchange pleasantries with Laura who invites her to have lunch with her and Lorenzo. Titus gloats to his friends over who he’d tricked Tony into making that video for him. Tony shows up and in spite of Mimi’s restraint, they fight. Silvia asks Conan if it was true her father was around and stops him from attacking Alex who shows her the jacket and hat Jose had left behind. They go out to look for him and Conan phones Nattie to tell how the idiot Alex had told their cousin everything. Lorenzo is not in the best of moods at the restaurant, though Laura acts so lovingly with him. Gloria is visibly furious when Lorenzo tells them Orlando and Nattie were back together. Mimi calls the lady in charge of the competition to let her know about Titus’ cheating but as they hadn’t signed a contract with him, there was nothing they could do. Alex and Silvia get to the bus station but Jose is not there. She humbly apologises to him for her suspicions but he insists he only did it because he loved her. Jose is with Isabella, he wants to know more about Laura and why they hated each other. Of course she begins to tell him in detail. Lorenzo is told by Nattie that Silvia was his sister-in-law; Laura’s half sister! He’s astonished and very shocked- unable to believe it’s true but Nattie insists it’s true and she would be devastated if she found out. She asks him to keep Jose away from Silvia if he saw him again. Hercules is furious to hear what Alex had done, guessing Silvia was angry with him. Jose now realises Laura is a monster, wondering how he could have a daughter like her. But at least, Alex had assured him his other child Silvia was an angel. Isabella looked surprised, ‘Silvia?’
He showed her the photo Alex had given him, adding that she had no idea who he was and he was going to leave it that way. He takes his leave and Isabella gleefully goes over this very juicy information. Gloria sees Nattie taking to the secretary and sarcastically asks if she was marking her territory and reminds her of their agreement after they had exposed Orlando as a liar, accusing her of being a loose woman with no dignity. In turn, Nattie says she’s sick with jealousy. Isabella phones Laura to tell her she had heard she has a sister and very close to her. Laura isn’t exactly bothered. Silvia is unhappy they still haven’t found Jose, but suddenly they see him a few yards away. Alex hurries to him, but he’s not in a right frame of mind. Silvia calls out to him, ‘Dad?’
Turning round, Jose finally sees his other daughter...

A VERY OBSTINATE ALEX

Hercules tries to deny it, but Jose dares him to look him in the eye and lie again. Reluctantly he confirms it and agrees to have a serious discussion on the matter. He asks Juanito to call Conan and Nattie. Meanwhile, Orlando insists he loved Nattie and wants her back, but she tells him she’s scared, he had made her suffer in the past and doesn’t want to go through all that again. The phone rings and Nattie is told over the phone to go to the gym along with Conan. Silvia comes in as she hangs up, and is told they were only going out for a while. Laura assures the doctor she was still taking her medication and won’t give Isabella the chance to change her pills again. Isabella asks Lorenzo about Jose, asking if he fell for Laura’s role of the hysterical, worried daughter. Alex vows to deal with José if he loses Silvia. He runs into Conan, who tries to explain why he mustn’t tell Silvia anything but the phone rings and reluctantly, Conan has to go to the gym.
Hercules explains to Jose that Mechita had been so resentful when he’d left her that she had told Hercules never to tell Silvia about her father at all as well as not giving her his surname. E.P enters and is introduced, she remembers seeing him in the paper, recognising him as Laura’s father and is very shocked when her husband tells her he’s Silvia’s father as well- Laura and Silvia were half sisters! Naturally she wants to go out and tell everyone but Hercules restrains her with difficulty, telling her it would destroy Silvia if she ever found out. Jose asks him why he said that and E.P tells him his daughters hated each other as they were in love with the same man. Nattie enters and angrily interrupts her before she could say more. Hercules introduces Nattie to Jose, who is very pleased to meet her but she’s cold towards him. Tony and Mimi are at the boutique when he receives a disturbing call; Titus had presented the video Tony had made for him for the video competition! Lorenzo asks Orlando to let Isabella or him to talk to Estephano next time. Orlando in turn tells him he was back with Nattie for good, but Lorenzo is sceptical- he felt it was simply a ploy to make Horsy Gloria jealous. Nattie explains to Jose that her cousin was a sensitive, delicate girl, who had idolised Hercules for most of her life,  a hero and a very honest man- for her to find out he was her father, she’ll be very upset, they had to protect her. Jose protested they shouldn’t talk as if he was a monster, he was a changed man and it sounded like Silvia was anxious to meet him, like Alex said, and she didn’t sound like Laura. E.P confirmed that they were most definitely different from each other. Jose finally accepts their arguments, realising it was more to protect Silvia from finding out Laura was her sister. He says goodbye to them and Conan escorts him out. Tony vows to deal with that thieving Titus in his own way. Alex stubbornly refuses to budge when Silvia orders him out and tells her the person he wanted her to meet at the hotel was her father. Silvia doesn’t believe him, as it was a sore subject with her but he asks her to ask her family who all know about it, plus she has a sister. Silvia tearfully asks him who was he and where was he, but is told he had disappeared. She decides to go and see Hercules. Laura warns Isabella never to make any attempt on her life or her child again and is sure she has something to do with her doctor’s sudden weird behaviour but Isabella doesn’t bat an eyelid, as usual.

ALEX's PLAN BACKFIRES

Hercules is relieved they were able to find Jose on time, thanks to Nattie but Conan reminds him there was still Alex to worry about, he could still go ahead to tell Silvia, not understanding how he’d found out in the first place. E.P comes in with beauty cream all over her face, she wants to look younger but Hector tells her she doesn’t need it. The next morning, Alex goes to the gym and immediately he greets Conan, Conan angrily hits out at him for what he tried to do. Angry in return, Alex warns him he’ll break his face if he attacked him again, adding that when anyone asked him not to do something, he goes ahead and do the opposite. Conan warns him to keep his mouth shut as it was none of his business; Silvia intervenes and stops the fight. She’s on her way to the factory but Alex tells her he has a surprise for her on the way. Reluctantly she agrees.

Laura and Lorenzo are in bed (from the look on Lorenzo’s face, he hadn’t enjoyed himself one bit); she leaves the bed to draw a bath, after she asks him to take a bath with her. Meanwhile, Lorenzo has a flashback; about the night he and Silvia  first made love.
Gloria asks Isabella why she was looking so radiant all of a sudden. Silvia suspiciously asks Alex why the surprise was in a hotel. Tony listens to Mimi’s womb, insisting he understood what their baby was saying. E.P barges in and they both tell her they have set a date for their wedding. Alas for Alex (but in my opinion, it’s just what he deserves), Jose wasn’t at the hotel and Silvia was absolutely furious, naturally believing he had lured her there for sex, refusing to listen to him and walks away. Lorenzo calls Nattie to find out what she was going to tell him about Silvia, as it made him worry. Nattie assures him it was nothing serious. Silvia angrily tells Nattie to throw Alex out if he dared set foot into the office; Nattie assured her she’ll throw any cheating scumbag out. Famous last words, Orlando walked in, dripping disgusting charm and tells Nattie he needed to talk to her. Silvia leaves him alone. He insists he loved her and missed her and wanted her back in his life. Nattie in return tells him all she felt for him was disgust and absolute rage, but he urges her to be serious. She tells him he’s filth, a hypocrite and a womaniser and wants nothing to with him but when he suddenly kisses her, she doesn’t push him away. Isabella expresses her annoyance to Lorenzo about Orlando telling Estephano about her arrest, bad mouthing him in general. She doesn’t want anyone talking to Estephano without her consent. Laura’s doctor comes by the house to run more tests on her. Laura wonders why he looks nervous when she mentions Isabella’s name. Jose shows up at the gym and confronts Hercules for not telling him about the child he had with Mechita, demanding to see Silvia.
